ArcGIS Software Maintenance (ASM) is designed to make sure that you and your colleagues continue to get maximum value from your organization's investment in ESRI software licenses. ASM is a collection of benefits offered by ESRI which accompanies the initial licensing of a qualifying software product. After the first year ASM can be extended through an annual subscription fee.
The benefits include technical support, software updates, user conferences, easier budgeting and procurement, ESRI publications, flexibility and consistency, beta program eligibility, user community support and additional ArcGIS Online services. These benefits allow you and your organization to keep abreast with the latest software technology, take advantage of usability improvements, and manage software licenses more easily.
To eliminate the tedious annual procurement process, ESRI offers a three year renewable maintenance contract allowing organizations to budget for and manage their ASM subscription in a transparent and accountable manner.
